Why is the DEP not giving notice to riparian owners, especially downstream riparians, of water withdrawals in their watersheds by Marcellus drilling companies and why is the DEP not requiring proof of a right to withdraw water for each of the proposed withdrawals included in a proposed Water Withdrawal Plan?"

I always thought this, the water withdrawals, is something outside the DEP aegis.... I am so glad others are finally forcing the issue.
ReplyDeleteAnd the other thing that always amazed me is that they could take clean water from streams or ponds, lakes, but that they are NOT bound by the regulations of the Clean Water Act-------talk about Eating Your Neighbor's Birthday Cake While Pissing On The Candles !!
