Like this. Thanks for posting it. In my home we re-use plastic bags as much as possible, substituting them for plastic wrap for food covering and carrying so they're not single-use, but they're still often sent to the landfill or incinerator. We use the cloth ones whenever we think to carry them. If plastic ones were pulled from use, I would adapt to using other materials. But I must confess I am like most Americans in the habit of simply accepting them as carriers for their convenience, and I need to become more thoughtful about my consumption.
The movie "Blue Vinyl," a remarkable indictment of the use of vinyl chloride---with all of its extremely dangerous health effects----pushed on an unsuspecting populace by the large petrochemical corporations, especially Dow.. . . ties in with this.
At least they finally pulled cuprous arsenate from treated wood...even after knowing for years how toxic arsenic is to water. And the millions of tons of lead added for decades to gasoline--even when it was well known as a retarding neurotoxin to children---should tell us all that they care nothing about our well-being.
I love this. Where did it come from? Is it being run on television?
